Make a Contribution to Houston's literacy today

Houston Center for Literacy is working to build a literate, prepared workforce by supporting literacy agencies and programs, engaging the entire community to join us in solving our city's low literacy problem, and connecting learners with the education they need to be prepared for the future.

Your donation can do things like:

  • Cover the cost of supplies for one of our Demonstration Learning Centers
  • Pay for literacy volunteer training
  • Support family literacy services
  • Underwrite essential learning materials for our member organizations

In-Kind Donations

Houston Center for Literacy is also grateful to receive any donation of resources, such as books, office equipment, classroom supplies, and computer equipment. These resources are distributed to member organizations of the Mayor's Coalition for Literacy and help to support literacy efforts throughout the Houston area. If you or your organization is interested in giving an in-kind donation, please email resources@houliteracy.org.

Please feel free to call 703-640-8230 with any questions regarding your donation, or email development@houliteracy.org.
